By when should I plan on arriving at Conn?

Campers should plan on being on campus for registration, which runs from 1:00-2:00pm on the first day of camp. Your registration confirmation will let you know which dorm building registration will be held in. The players should have any missing documents with them, ready to hand in.

Will campers be able to purchase snacks and beverages?

Yes. There will be a camp store that will sell various snacks, water, and sports drinks. There will also be opportunities to order pizza in the evening.

What will the weather be like in New London during the camp?

During the month of July, New London's average high is 81 and its average low is 63. We recommend bringing sunscreen as well as rain gear, so campers are prepared for variable conditions.

Goalkeepers are absolutely invited to attend. There will be separate goalkeeping training sessions.

A 10% discount will be given to groups of 10 or more players from the same team. Please call for details.

What exposure will I get to Connecticut College?

Campers will be immersed in everything that collegiate soccer at Connecticut College entails.  They will become familiar with the Connecticut College athletic facilities, dining hall, and dorms, as well as have the opportunity to interact with and be coached by the Conn College players. The campers will be exposed to and come to know the Conn coaching staff, including Head Coach Norm Riker, and guest coaches from various colleges in the northeast.  They will familiarize themselves with college coaching techniques and training, and will also get to meet and be coached by other college coaches that will be on staff.  Campers are also encouraged to take a campus tour during their time on campus.

Is the camp strictly overnight, or are day campers allowed?

Day campers are allowed. They will be provided with lunch and dinner. Day campers should arrive Saturday at 1pm and Sunday at 8:45AM and leave after the games are completed. If you plan on being a day camper or choose to not stay overnight in the dorms, there are hotel options in New London, Groton, and Mystic.
